Maurice Ravel, thank you!

On January 29th and 30th, some of our 4th year ambassadors, eco-leaders and members of the bicycle workshop from the headed North to visit the Maurice Ravel Liceum Here is a summary of their experiences.

Our visit to the North was short but profound and full of emotion and learning. Thanks to Pierre-Laurent Vanderplancke, the Erasmus+ manager at the Maurice Ravel Lyceum, we had the opportunity to interact with local students and participate in various activities.

We started our adventure in Bayonne, exploring the old town through a gymkhana and practicing our French.

Afterwards, in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, we had lunch in the Lycée canteen and participated in varied workshops within the ACMÉ project —Freedom of the Press, Arts and Liberty, Maurice Ravel, An Inconvenient Truth— and were enriched by presentations offered by the Lycée students. Among others, the project aims at understanding people's resilience and resistance. Then, we visited the Microfolia museum and were also welcomed by the Youth Services of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Thank you to Ms. Sierra and Ms. Arribas and Mr. Puyjalon for all the facilities provided and for such a warm welcome.
On Friday, after saying goodbye, we headed to Hendaye to visit the Abbadia Palace and its surroundings. Thanks to Erruki Etxebarria and Iker Zearreta for taking care of the group.

Back home, we are tired but happy and look forward to more adventures with the Lycée in the future.
